In search for cute bookish items?

The story of Bookmerchboutique started with a different name – Megurix shop. I refer to myself as Megurix, so you can see how unoriginal that was, haha. 

I was first creating designs that didn’t follow a theme. My favourite one, however, was the first book-themed design I created – “Reading is my favourite sport”. After that, I knew I wanted to make bookish designs for people who love books as much as I do.

I started creating digital designs because it was fun and creative. The job I was working at the time was anything but that. I knew I wanted to do something more exciting and visual. Luckily, creating designs was a new hobby that I had found.

Bookmerchboutique came to be because I was taking a digital marketing class and had to make a website. Naturally, I made a website for my bookish business. Megurix shop didn’t scream “books”, so I had to figure something else out. The first idea was actually Bibliophile Bazaar, but that domain name was taken, sadly.  Thus, Bookmerchboutique was born.
